Vintage Needlework Exhibit
A display of vintage items used in the Victorian era for various types of needlework. Included in this exhibit are artifacts and examples of fine needlework from the collection of NSCDA-NJ and private collectors. Also on display are the Samplers of Peachfield, including two recently acquired Burlington County samplers.
Open to the public Tuesdays from 11 am to 3 pm or by special appointment.

Needlework Then & Now
Join us for a unique program suitable for elementary students and scouts being offered in conjunction with the Victorian Needlework Tools Exhibit at Peachfield. Participants are invited to visit the exhibit and take part in a visual scavenger hunt, hear a story about the Thimble People and how children learned to sew 100 years ago and make a simple needlework project. On display are vintage items used in the Victorian era for various types of needlework, as well as the Samplers of Peachfield.
Groups who attend the Needlework Then & Now program will receive a coupon for 10% off the next children's program they register for at Peachfield and/or The Old Schoolhouse.
Fee: $1 per person (to defray the cost of materials). Minimum 8 students; maximum 20 students. Space is limited and reservations are required.

March Into History
Suitable for students in Grades 3, 4 and 5
Come to Peachfield and step back into the past! A costumed historic interpreter will guide you into the Eighteenth Century. Each afternoon has a different theme; all of them have period appropriate crafts, games, stories and snacks guaranteed to be fun and teach you something about the way our forefathers lived long ago.

Fee: $12 per session; all four sessions $36 (save 25% by attending all four sessions). Minimum 8 students; maximum 20 students. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Children's Tea Party
Suitable for children between the ages of 6 to 12 years old.
Join us for a buffet tea served in style with fresh flowers, linens and china. Participants will enjoy both traditional and kid-friendly tea sandwiches, scones and sweets while learning proper tea etiquette and the social customs surrounding it. Activities include parlor games of the late 19th century presented by our costumed historic interpreter.
Fee: $12 per person. Minimum 8; maximum 32 guests. Space is limited and reservations are required.
It is requested that at least one adult attends for every three children.

Step Into History

Come and experience life on the farmstead as it was in the eighteenth century.
Suitable for children entering 3rd, 4th or 5th grade. Topics include hearth cooking, education in the 18th century, colonial games, chores on "the farm", songs, stories, games and crafts. Snacks included.
Fee: $200 per camper. Minimum 10 students; maximum 16 students. Space is limited and reservations are required.
